Data Not Linked to You
Privacy Policy
Fast Cleaner · Effective date: 26 October 2026 (version 1.9)
Fast Cleaner scans everything on your iPhone. Your photos, contacts, and calendar data never leave the device. There is no tracking, no advertising and no third-party SDKs. To find and fix problems, the app sends anonymous usage events (for example “scan finished”) and crash reports to our own server. They contain no photos, names, or personal data, and you can turn them off in About.
1. Who We Are
Fast Cleaner is developed and maintained by Ivan Vostrikov, operating as a solo iOS developer. Contact: info@zoomapps.kz.
2. Apple App Privacy Label
Fast Cleaner's App Store Privacy Nutrition Label lists Data Not Linked to You: Usage Data (product interaction), Purchases (purchase history, for analytics) and Diagnostics (crash and performance data). Nothing is used to track you across apps or websites, and there is no ad network.
3. Data We Do Not Collect
The following categories of data are never collected, stored, or transmitted:
- Identifiers — no IDFA, IDFV, device serial, IP address, or account ID is recorded. The app creates a random installation number that is not linked to you and disappears when you delete the app.
- Location — no GPS, coarse location, or IP-based geolocation
- Photos & Videos — read locally to detect duplicates; never uploaded or transmitted
- Contacts — read locally to find duplicate entries; never uploaded or transmitted
- Calendar Events — read locally to identify old events; never uploaded or transmitted
- Usage Data — only anonymous steps such as “scan finished”, “cleanup confirmed” with approximate sizes in megabytes, plus app version, language, device model and iOS version. Never file names, photo content or locations.
- Diagnostics & Crash Data — crash and hang reports provided by Apple's MetricKit, sent to our server without personal data.
- User Content — no photos, names, or event titles are stored outside your device
- Health & Fitness — not accessed
- Financial Info — not accessed. Fast Cleaner Pro (monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time purchase) is paid through Apple; we never see your card, name or Apple ID. The app only records which product was bought, without any personal data. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Browsing History — not accessed
- Search History — not accessed
- Sensitive Info — not accessed
- Other Data — nothing else
4. System Permissions Explained
Fast Cleaner requests three optional iOS permissions. Each permission is used strictly on-device for the stated purpose. You can grant or revoke any permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security.
Photos (Read/Write)
Used to scan your photo library for: duplicate photos (via Apple Vision FeaturePrint and perceptual hashing), screenshots (OCR triage for receipts, 2FA codes, QR codes, Wi-Fi passwords), large videos, and Live Photos motion data. Deletions are performed via PhotoKit and move assets to the iOS Recently Deleted album — recoverable for 30 days. Nothing is read outside your device.
Contacts (Read)
Used to detect duplicate contact entries, including cross-script duplicates (e.g. Cyrillic and Latin representations of the same name). No contact names, phone numbers, or emails are stored or transmitted. This permission is fully optional — skip it and Fast Cleaner works fine for photo and calendar cleanup only.
Calendars (Read/Write)
Used to identify and offer deletion of past calendar events older than two years. Events are never read for content analysis, summarization, or any purpose other than their age and your explicit selection. This permission is fully optional.
5. Apple Frameworks Used
Fast Cleaner uses only first-party Apple frameworks. No third-party SDKs, analytics libraries, or ad networks are embedded:
- PhotoKit — photo library access and deletion
- Vision (Apple Vision) — on-device image analysis for duplicate detection and OCR
- Contacts framework — contact reading and deduplication
- EventKit — calendar event access
- StoreKit — Fast Cleaner Pro purchases and restore, processed by Apple
- SKStoreReviewController — native iOS review prompt (no data transmitted; this is an Apple API call that presents a system dialog)
6. iCloud & Network
Fast Cleaner makes one kind of outbound request: anonymous usage events and crash reports sent to zoomapps.kz, which you can switch off in About. Photos, contacts and calendar data are never sent. Fast Cleaner operates entirely on the local PhotoKit database — it does not interact with iCloud servers. If you have iCloud Photos enabled, iOS may sync deletions to iCloud in the background as part of normal iOS behavior; this is controlled by Apple's iOS, not by Fast Cleaner.
7. Recently Deleted — Your Safety Net
Every photo or video removed through Fast Cleaner is moved to the iOS Recently Deleted album. You have 30 days to recover any item before iOS permanently removes it. Fast Cleaner never bypasses this iOS safety mechanism. To recover a photo: open the Photos app → Albums → Recently Deleted → select the photo → Recover.
8. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Because Fast Cleaner collects no personal data, it is safe for users of all ages, including children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children or anyone else. There is no account creation, no registration, and no user profile.
9. GDPR (EU/EEA Users)
Fast Cleaner does not collect personal data. Anonymous usage events cannot be linked to a person, and you can stop them at any time in About. If you have a question about your data rights, you may contact us at info@zoomapps.kz and we will respond within 48 hours confirming that no data exists to provide, delete, or correct.
10. CCPA (California Users)
Fast Cleaner does not sell, share, or disclose personal information. No personal information is collected. California residents may request disclosure of data practices at any time.
11. Changes to This Policy
If we ever change our privacy practices (for example, adding a crash reporting feature), we will update this page and change the effective date. Any future data collection will require explicit disclosure and, where applicable, your consent. The current version of this policy can always be found at applications.kz/fastcleaner/privacy.html.
