Video analytics is limited less by peak compute than by how many streams a card handles at once and whether it stays stable for weeks without a restart. One server can cover dozens of cameras: person and vehicle detection, visitor counting, zone control, licence plate recognition. We size the machine from your camera count, resolution and frame rate, and we keep model training separate from the round-the-clock inference that actually runs the system.
What you get
Sized by streams, not by card count
We start from how many cameras you run and at what resolution. A card with hardware codecs handles far more streams for the same money than a general-purpose one.
Hardware video decoding
Dedicated decode units take stream unpacking off the compute cores, so those cores stay on the model. Without it, much of the card goes on simply decoding pictures.
Built for continuous operation
Surveillance never pauses, so cooling, redundant power and monitoring matter more than peak benchmarks. The servers sit in a data centre, not an office cupboard.
Trained on your own footage
Off-the-shelf models miss on your angles, lighting, workwear and equipment. We fine-tune on your recordings and allocate that capacity only for the training period.
Frequently asked questions
How many cameras does one server handle?
It depends on resolution, frame rate and the model. For person and vehicle detection at 1080p and 10–15 fps, comfortably several dozen streams. We calculate against your actual camera list before quoting.
How is this different from ordinary CCTV?
Ordinary CCTV records an archive you review after the fact. Analytics reacts at the moment: someone entering a restricted zone, a missing hard hat, a crowd forming, a licence plate. That needs compute running continuously.
Can it work with our existing cameras?
In most cases yes — analytics consumes the stream, so the cameras usually stay. We check the streams and codecs before committing.
